The expertise of CarEdOn includes:
- unravelling the etiology of edema, pain, upper limb dysfunctions and sensory dysfunctions and their interactions in cancer and/or edema patients.
- clinical assessment of edema, pain, upper limb function and sensory function in a biopsychosocial context with a special interest in near-infrared fluorescence imaging, quantitative sensory testing and accelerometer.
- rehabilitation of edema, pain, upper limb function and sensory function with a focus on manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, lymphatic surgery, exercise therapy, educational interventions, activity management, tele rehabilitation and myofascial therapy.
